VFA Announces 40 Pilot Colleges

edefining success is crucial to the completion agenda.
That’s the goal of the Voluntary Framework of Account-
ability (VFA), a national model for community college
success launched last year by the American Association of
Community Colleges (AACC) and several partner organiza-
tions. Project organizers say the VFA will provide colleges
with more accurate data and operational transparency and will allow
participating institutions to benchmark the progress of their students
against peer institutions.
In an important development for
the effort, 40 pilot colleges were
recently chosen to test a series of
custom metrics developed by community college professionals. They are:

Community College Trustees and the
